We took a three week car trip this winter so things slowed down a bit.  Back to work now.  I am finishing up my prototype cutaway resonator.  It’s strung up and ready for electronics and finish.

It’s pretty cool.  It’ll have a fretboard end humbucker and a resonator pickup wired in stereo.

Work continues on my first archtop based on Bob Benedetto’s book and DVD series.  I am using laminated maple sides.  Finally got the hang of bending that tight cutaway.  Back and top are joined and the neck blank roughed out.  Another exciting project.

I got a client Koa OM back from Addam Stark.  He documented the finish of this guitar on his

facebook page  .    It’s beautiful and almost ready to be strung up.

I am also starting a Mahogany Size 2 for a good friend.  I may tart this one up a little

Well that’s about it for now.  I’ll have a client Rosewood OM back from finish soon so there is plenty to keep me busy.  Check out my stuff at The Podium
