I’ve been using the LuthierTools slotting jig for the peghead and it’s a great device.  I highly recommend it    The Grobet tapered file is perfect for the ramps.

The last few years I’ve been getting more hooked on swing and jazz guitar.  I’ve been playing and taking lessons from Mel Lamar.  Mel has been a professional jazz guitarist most of his life and is kind of a local legend.  I built an OM for him several years ago.   He’s an amazing player.

Tom Walsh’s Mahogany/Lutz OM is complete and ready to ship.  My first with hide glue on the bracing, top and back joints, and bridge.  It has a very loud, clear, and well balanced sound.

I also have a Mahogany/Sitka parlor ready to ship for finish.  It’s bound for The Podium.  I will get a Rosewood/Sitka OM back from finish next week.  It’s headed to The Podium as well.  Both are constructed with hide glue.

I am working on a client Dred.  Rosewood and Lutz.  It’ll have Rosewood bindings and a BRW headstock veneer.  Also another Rosewood OM for The Podium with an Italian spruce top from RC Tonewoods

I just finished setting up a  Rosewood/Sitka OM for the Podium.  It has a master grade top from Walter Lipton  at Euphonon.  My second with hot hide glue on all the braces, and top and back joints.  It sounds good out of the gate.

The Resonator is in cure right now.  I did a sunburst.  Trying to make it look like a 1930 Sears mail order special.  Should be done in a couple of weeks.  This one is for Dan Mahar.
