Cutting the back binding at the heel has always been difficult for me. It’s tough to get it perfectly square and matched up with the other end. I always had to dick around cutting it a little long and tediously shortening it with files and sanding sticks. This jig uses an X-acto razor saw and has simplified the process considerably. You have to make one for each binding size but that’s easy.
