Man I can’t believe it’s been a year since I updated this blog. I’m 80 now and that’s my excuse. I am still building but at a slower pace. I have completed the two I started last year and one will go to Willies American Guitars in St Paul this month. The other was a commission. The Mahogany double side OM going to Willie’s is a good one and has been played by a couple of Pros and they both like it. I do as well. It has a Brazilian bridge and Lutz spruce top. Brazilian peg head overlay.
I am building a double side Ovankol/Maple OM currently. It is my first with that species. I thought a Maple inner side would work well. We’ll see!! It should be complete early 2026. It will be #94 and I am determined to make 100 or more before hanging it up.
