The arch top is done.  17”, Maple double side with solid carved Maple back and Adirondak top.  Kent Armstrong hand wound 12 pole floating pickup with under pick guard tone and volume controls.  Plays and sounds great.  This will be a hard one to let go.  I plan to get it to David Roos when his new website launches.  It has my new custom made tailpiece in Anodized Aluminum.

My building will be curtailed for a while due to health issues in the family.  I just can’t commit the needed shop time to launch some new builds in the next month or two.  I am catching up on some repairs that have been lying around like the lovely 50’s Kamaka Uke below and a Gibson harp guitar that has been around the shop a long time.  Stay tuned.

Another celebrity endorsement!  Well known local entertainer Anne O’Flynn sings Pete The Cat Walking In My White Shoes to a bunch of kindergarteners playing her Kennedy size 2.   Note the Lions vest festooned with her many awards, a nice touch.

A fun project finished.   A 50’s Silvertone catalogue archtop converted to a bolt-on neck with the addition of a neck position humbucker with vintage tone and volume control knobs.  Much Mojo.

It has been a beautiful fall in West Central Minnesota.  Maples are the prettiest I have ever seen them.
