Making progress on the archtop. The wood for the top is from spruce billets that were used to make the wings of the Bellanca Super Viking aircraft. A single engine retractable hand made beauty that was manufactured in Alexandria MN, home of Kennedy Guitars.
This is old spruce, probably Adi, and should sound great. I plan to put the Bellanca logo somewhere on the guitar.
Back and sides are Mahogany. It is a little guy, 15” lower bout.
